Liberty Center I – located at 909 N. Liberty Street – houses 109 men.


Liberty Center II – located at 945 N. Liberty Street – houses 134 men.


RENT: HUD establishes rent and deposit amounts. Liberty Center I & II are both HUD subsidized, Single Room Occupancy (SRO) for men only,  transitioning out of homelessness.

ROOMS: At Liberty Center I & II, we offer only single rooms with a twin bed and storage underneath. The rooms are approximately 8’ x 10’ and offer a desk, a chair, a wall mirror and a place to hang clothes. The bathrooms are dormitory style so the residents share with the other men living on their hallway. Residents may cook in their rooms using a microwave, may have a dorm-sized refrigerator, a TV, music with headphones, a computer and a bedside table.


LOCATION: These properties are conveniently located in downtown Jacksonville north of State and Union streets and just past Hogan’s Creek. Winn Dixie grocery store, Florida State Community College, the Jacksonville Public Library, the Jacksonville Court House and EverBank Field are nearby. Transportation is also easily accessible due to our close proximity to the Rosa Parks Main JTA terminal and the Skyway.


AMENITIES: Our properties offer a large common area perfect for meetings, celebrations, and watching the Jacksonville Jaguar games. There are grills and a smoker for those who enjoy outside cooking. There are also basketball courts, a large community garden, a clean laundry facility and 2 covered pavilion areas. Residents have access to our free clothing shop.


RESTRICTIONS: We do not allow alcohol or illegal drugs. There is NO SMOKING inside the buildings. Residents are required to keep personal possessions to a minimum for safety, sanitary, pest-free and clutter-free living. Guests are allowed to visit designated areas only. All visitors must check in and out at the front desk. Visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.


At this time Liberty Center I & II have a 5-6 month wait list.
